At an early age, Chasma realized that where you live is a large determinant in access to resources and educational opportunity gaps. This unfair correlation between zip code and potential success sparked her desire to advocate for marginalized and overlooked communities. Appointed Board Secretary in 2014, Chasma handles the administrative responsibilities of the Board and is committed to expanding Soulciety's reach to impact more youth. She manages people and operations at Teradata Labs where she supports the Engineering team and is constantly cooking up creative events and strategy to improve collaboration, employee wellness and productivity.
Chasma graduated Magna Cum Laude and Alpha Chi from Harris-Stowe State University and earned an M.A. in Media Communications at Webster University in St. Louis. A life hack connoisseur, organization whiz, and techie; Chasma consistently does three things every morning; pray, dance and list 5 'daily goals' before starting the day.
