The Bridge Program Coordinator

The goal of Soulciety is to educate and empower underserved, low-income youth and young adults to live a self-sufficient and fulfilling life through workforce and creative development. Our mission is to help others to make a living by living their purpose.

Soulciety is a non-profit organization seeking a committed and passionate Program Coordinator to coordinate Soulciety’s Bridge Program, which focuses on bringing arts, technology, and eventually employment to youth and young adults in the provinces of the Philippines. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the computer donation program here in the Bay Area. This responsibility requires an individual that has strong coordinating skills to build the infrastructure of the program as well as a go-getter type personality that will take the program by the reigns. They will also work with the Coordinator in the Philippines to build computers labs at the public schools there as well as coordinate the organization’s next trip. These responsibilities will require very strong organizational and project management skills. Overall, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for building the program infrastructure, creating processes, developing partnerships, and achieving program objectives and goals.


Computer Technology Program
  • Refine the process of approaching companies to donate their used computers and of the overall computer technology program

  • Work with IT schools to develop and oversee computer refurbishing program

  • Work with Philippines Coordinator to design and coordinate IT education program in the Philippines

  • Program / Overseas Trip Coordination
  • Work with Philippines Coordinator to design and coordinate performing arts education program

  • Coordinate 2017 trip to the Philippines for 12-20 individuals

  • Coordinate program fundraising campaign

  • Create and implement a marketing campaign to promote the program


    Education Requirements
  • A College Degree or in active pursuit of a College Degree

  • Skills Needed
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals

  • Willing to work with little supervision and yet still works with integrity, handwork and focus

  • Strong coordination and time-management skills

  • Open to traveling overseas to the Philippines

  • Speaks Tagalog is a plus

  • Job Type: Part-time

    Salary: $40k/yr (.3FTE) or $12,000
